Parent Dance Package
I have just finished my classes with Kylie. I enrolled for a husband and wife first dance AND a father daughter medley for my wedding next week. I had some serious doubts that I would be able to learn not 1 but 2 dances for my wedding but with the help of Kylie I am feeling super confident about both of my dances.
Kylie is absolutely wonderful. She is professional, patient and teaches you in a way that is unique to your style. She will even sing little tunes and sayings to you that help you remember tricky dance moves.
Kylie also cut and mixed/ mashed our music up with the songs we requested. She can do it all!
I am so glad we chose Kylie and this is now a special memory I have with me for the rest of my life. Thanks Kylie!

Parent Dance Package
We engaged Wedding Dance Diva for dance lessons for our first dance and my father daughter dance. Kylie was so communicative from the start and nothing was too much trouble, despite changing our minds on our first dance song after they had already started choreographing our original choice 🙈 Being that my husband works away, Kylie also arranged to have lessons scheduled for the weekend around his work schedule which was so appreciated. Christine and Kylie were amazing teachers and made us feel so comfortable and confident in an area we are not usually. Having choreographed dances helped take some of the pressure off - knowing that we had our routines nailed and we weren’t going to just sway awkwardly for 2.5 minutes. Highly recommend! 💃🕺

Wedding Dance Workshops
Absolute Beginners Welcome!
Introductory 2-Hour Workshop
Similar to our Come & Try lesson, this 2 hour introductory workshop will equip you with all the basic moves you need to for your first dance,
PLUS
Extra fancy moves, and our favourite lifts to create that WOW factor!
We will cover our signature basic steps, lead + follow technique, simple twirls, dips, leans, lifts and some fancy moves. Your cost includes 2 hours of Kylie's expert tuition AND your choice of barista coffee/tea/juice delivered at 10am for a quick 10 min break/chat.
This is a great workshop for those who want more than just the basics, but still perfect for beginners who want a wow factor.

2-Hour Introductory Workshop
We did the 2hr wedding dance workshop which was great and perfect skill level for beginners - it's great that they covered some dips and lifts as well so that we can incorporate some fancier moves into our first dance without it being too hard to learn. Highly recommend!

Wedding Dance Diva is a Wedding Dance specialist providing First Dance choreography and lessons for the modern couple. Your learning to dance experience will be in a fun, relaxed, supportive environment with your dedicated instructor. No dance experience is necessary! Two left feet? No worries! We cater for everyone!
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU BOOK A PACKAGE:

Packages are private lessons with custom choreography for your song, and your ability.

During your first dance lesson, we will discuss your music, your goals, and expectations, and I’ll assess your boogie skills! We will also consider your floor size and surface, your dress, and your heels! You will leave lesson 1 having already learned the basics and the first part of your song! Many couples learn between 30-45 seconds in lesson 1!

Your dance will be recorded progressively for you to take home and practise in between your lessons. Your music will be cut and combined if required for no additional cost.

At lesson 2 you will show us how good you are after all your practicing, and we will add on another minute of your routine.

No matter which package you choose, we will complete the choreography with 1 whole lesson to spare. The final lesson is put aside to practise with your shoes, and a long dress or your actual dress if you wish (we’ll hide the groom). The final lesson we will finetune, add the final details and run your routine over and over so that you know it inside out!
